Boxer youth leadership programme sends 50 young leaders back to their communities
Fifty young people from across South Africa have returned home after completing the 24th edition of the Boxer Youth Leadership Programme, an initiative aimed at equipping pupils with leadership skills and personal development training.
The programme concluded recently after participants from several provinces took part in the annual leadership camp, which focuses on confidence-building, teamwork, discipline and community responsibility.
Boxer said the initiative is designed to nurture leadership potential at an early age by encouraging participants to become positive influences in their schools and communities.
The retailer said the graduates would now return to share what they had learnt with peers and residents in their respective areas.
“Leadership starts at a young age, and these pupils represent the next generation of changemakers in their communities,” Boxer said.
The programme forms part of Boxer’s broader youth development and community upliftment efforts.
